Here are some things on our to-do list that we could use some help with.
We have a new pair of Caracals, a pair of Canadian Lynx, and Radar, the Serval, all of
which need their own habitat at approximately $2000.00 each. We go
through a thousand plus pounds of meat a week feeding all the cats.
Projects and cost for new Kansas Laws effective 7-1-2006: Braveheart's cage: Raise height of cage to 14 feet with 2 foot lean in. Estimated cost $1,100 Saber's cage: Raise height of cage to 14 feet with 2 foot lean in. Lockout area for safe cleaning. Estimated cost; $ 1,650 Leopard cage: Finish habitat with lockout and concrete walkway. Metal roof. Estimated cost; $2,800 Waca’s new cage: including concrete, roofing, square tubing and wire. Estimated cost $1,700 Sony's cage: Raise height of cage to 14 feet with 2 foot lean in. Lockout area for safe cleaning. Concrete sidewalks. Estimated cost $2,600 Kojo’s cage: Concrete for new area and raise old fence to 14 feet. Estimated cost $1,300 White tiger cubs cage: Metal roof and lockout with platforms. Estimated cost $1,400 Saras cage: Metal roof and lockout with platforms. Estimated cost $1,550 Wolf’s cage: All new fence with den and lockout. Estimated cost $1,500 Black Bears: New habitat with lockout and den. Estimated cost $ 3,700 Savanna New habitat: Fence, den and lockout. Estimated cost $2,600 Asia New habitat: Fence, den and lockout. Estimated cost $ 2,600 Heated Winter Building for warm climate animals and birds. 40 by 60 feet. Estimated cost: $39,000. Anyone that donates for a project is welcomed and encouraged to come and see that their money is being put to good use. |
